Hi there, I’m Fabio Caveira, a Brazilian ACD based in Dubai. I’ve worked with global networks such as J. Walter Thompson, Leo Burnett, Y&R and VML, and clients like Dubai Tourism, FORD, Huawei, OPPO, QNB, Orange Telecom, Haleon (Panadol), and Coca-Cola.
I’ve been fortunate to work abroad for more than a decade, with over 8 of those years immersed in the Middle East, spanning locations such as Jordan, Qatar, and Dubai. After spending two years at OPPO’s in-house agency in Shenzhen, China, I returned to the agency side as the Group Creative Director for Ogilvy Shenzhen. Following two and a half transformative years, I made the move to Dubai, where I worked as an independent creative from 2022 until I received an offer to join VML, the creative powerhouse resulting from the merger of VMLY&R and WT.
My work has been recognized by the London International Awards, New York Festivals, MAD Stars Asia, Lisbon Advertising Festival, and the Brazilian Creative Club. I’ve also served on the jury for festivals such as New York Festivals, MAD Stars, Lisbon Advertising Festival, and Ad Forum PHNX.
Jumping into newer territories, I’m really into AI. I’ve gotten good with Midjourney, DALL-E, ChatGPT and some other great new tools for content image generation. It boosts my creativity, helps me bring ideas to the surface, and gives me extra time to try new stuff.
I’m also exploring new creative tools through Burnout Parade, an AI-powered thrash metal band live on Spotify, and 3, 2, 1 GO!, an AI kids’ channel on YouTube where I lead storytelling and character development.
In my downtime, I love taking photos while traveling and sharing quirky memes on Instagram.
